Our Client is a company operating for over 20 years, part of an international group, specializing in advertising, marketing, and media services.The company's department comprises a team of over 20 IT specialists developing a proprietary system supporting the preparation of marketing communication materials. The company also undertakes projects in PIM, CMS, and Knowledge Management and develops solutions utilizing artificial intelligence.

Requirements:

• experience in creating applications in Java,
• very good knowledge of Spring Boot,
• experience in testing applications using Spring Boot Test,
• knowledge of Docker,
• practical understanding of backend, frontend, testing and deployment areas,
• ability to design and create APIs,
• knowledge of web application architecture,
• independence and good work organization,
• structured and analytical approach to problem solving,
• ability to work in a team,
• ability to communicate with various stakeholder groups,
• very good knowledge of German,
• good knowledge of English.

Additional advantages:

• minimum 5 years of experience in Java application development,
• experience in creating RESTful APIs,
• experience in microservices architecture,
• knowledge of relational databases,
• knowledge of NoSQL databases,
• knowledge of Git,
• experience with CI/CD, particularly GitLab CI/CD,
• knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift,
• experience with Apache Kafka in event streaming and asynchronous communication,
• knowledge of frontend frameworks, particularly Angular,
• completed degree in computer science or related field,
• ability to present and moderate meetings,
• ability to communicate at various organizational levels,
• willingness to undergo a security procedure if required.

Responsibilities:

• creating and developing applications using Java and Spring Boot,
• designing and implementing backend components,
• creating and maintaining RESTful APIs,
• developing applications based on microservice architecture,
• writing and maintaining tests using Spring Boot Test,
• collaborating on running applications in container environments using Docker,
• performing basic frontend tasks or collaborating with the frontend team,
• collaborating with the DevOps team on application deployments,
• working with relational and non-relational databases,
• participating in requirements analysis and designing technical solutions,
• diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues,
• collaborating with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
